Career Counselling and Guidance Cell

The college has a concrete, multilayered strategy to turn this vision into reality. To enhance the employability of young women and to make them entrepreneur in life, the institution runs a number of career oriented and vocational courses along with regular ones. Students are quite often not clear about career options and opportunities. They need mature guidance for sorting out their confusions and dilemmas. To advise them in this matter, the college has career guidance and Placement cell to help students with career choice and placements under the dynamic leadership of  incharges.  The career guidance placement cell organizes various career counseling and guidance seminars and workshops. The college in collaboration with Career Launcher helps in polishing the skills of the students and makes them capable enough to excel in competitive exams. The college in collaboration with ATECH provides software projects training to the students. As for the placements, off campus placements are highly encouraged. Every year, Government of Punjab organises "Punjab Rozgar Mela" in which approx. 100-200 companies come for hiring the freshers. Sincere efforts are made to prepare students through Group Discussions, Resume writing, Interviews etc. for being placement ready. Many of our students have got placements recently through these fairs.

Career Guidance Cell arranged industrial visits and regular visits to the DBEE office, Gurdaspur.

Various career-oriented seminars and workshops were organised in association with Institution Innovation Council and MGNCRE, MOE, Govt. of India.
