Pt. Mohan Lal SD College for Women, Gurdaspur, is based on a strong foundation and vision of building an institution dedicated for providing opportunities to young women. Our dream is to enable young women to develop into outstanding individuals who are equipped to pursue their goals, either professional or personal, armed with confidence and a wider view of the world that helps them create tremendous value wherever they are.

We have created an institution especially for women, where academics plays a crucial role in providing a strong foundation of knowledge and practical approach to excel in every area of life. Our focus is to develop intellectual, emotional and pragmatic capabilities of our students. We are striving to build a vibrant and dynamic academic atmosphere. We also encourage a free and spirited exchange of ideas to celebrate diversity while ensuring inclusivity. With the changing needs of the present society and the New Education Policy, the college offers a wide range of courses in Arts, Commerce, Science, Computers and various skill development courses at UG and PG level. The college is providing the best education, training and opportunities with a mission to disseminate knowledge that nurtures students to meet the highest standards of competence along with a sound value system. The aim is to make education and learning an enriching, fulfilling and enjoyable experience where the potential of each student is brought to the fore during this journey.
