The Career Guidance and Placement Cell organized an online Session on ‘New Age Skills and the Job Market’ in collaboration with Skill Lab Resource Service Private, a leading organization dedicated to equipping individuals with essential skills for the modern workforce. The session was led by Dr. Himesh Sharma, Founder,Skill labs Resource Services Pvt. Ltd. and a distinguished Entrepreneur and expert in the field of career counseling and skill development. Dr. Sharma emphasized the importance of adapting to the rapid changes in the employment landscape. He highlighted how traditional career paths are being transformed by technology, globalization, and the rise of new industries, urging students to be proactive in acquiring the skills that are now in high demand. He also discussed the increasing trend of competition in the job market, explaining that with the right skills and knowledge, students could stand out and seize new opportunities. His talk was not just informative but also highly motivational, designed to inspire students to take charge of their career journeys. During the session, students had the opportunity to ask questions directly to Dr. Sharma. These questions ranged from specific career paths to broader inquiries about the job market, and Dr. Sharma addressed each with expertise and clarity, leaving the students with a better understanding of how to navigate their future careers. He promised that the college would continue to support students by organizing more workshops in future. Career Counselling Cell incharge Mrs. Sandeep Kaur Goraya and Dr. Ravneet also motivated the students to attain career-enhancing skills. College Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Neeru Sharma thanked the speaker and acknowedged the endeavours of the organising team.
